The Future

We continue to look for new ideas for providing additional benefits to our members.  Future plans include:

  • Educational Classes:  We are planning classes on a variety of topics of general interest to our members.  These may include cooking, preserving, decorating, gardening or even nutrition.

  • Long range education plan: Education center and resource center

  • U-Pick-Your-Own fields:  In addition to raspberries and strawberries, we plan to add familiar standards like apples and blueberries.

  • Non-vegetative farm products:  We plan to offer eggs, honey and nuts in 2008.

  • We will have maitake and shitake mushrooms in 2008

  • We have plans in the works for earthworm cultivation.

  • Commercial Kitchen:  Our goal is to provide not only fresh produce but also processed foods that save you time – whether it’s fresh salsa, pasta sauce or pickles – all are made with delicious Natures’ Way produce.

Burr Oak Produce our Natures' Way Farm is  located  on Hwy 108 one mile east of Burr Oak. Just 20-25 min. from downtown  LaCrosse, Holmen, West Salem, Sparta, Black River Falls and Galesville. The produce you receive is hours old, not days.  It is picked at full ripeness and includes varieties not easily transported.  The money you spend stays local and supports the local economy with summer jobs for area youth
