Gateway Drugs for our kids
I seen it on the Morning News
the other day. Come on now! The media and pharmaceutical
companies are going a little too far for me to
not say something.
TORO CACA
definition: bull shit
The media is so controlled by
BIG BIZ pharmaceuticals etc.. We must
control the media a little more and shut it
off. We need to let the networks and their
sponsors hear our voices.
FACT:
One of the main underlying
causes for Drug problems with kids are caused by
the intentional programming by
media. The large portion of Media
commercials, (and revenues) come from pharmaceutical
companies. Also the unintentional neglect
on the parents part (for trusting the networks
and what they broadcast into our public
air-space), for allowing kids to absorb
sensationalized crime and crap and
Drug/medication commercials bombarding them on
TV from infancy.
Solution:
Family Time. Throw out the TV :) Maybe grow a
garden together. Let kids watch and
experience nature, naturally.
NOT BY WATCHING IT ON TV.

TSABC a community service site, in the past,
provided directory listings of most businesses in
the Tri-State Area. Decision was made to
continue the previous community service listings
as well as the On-line-Job-line and classified
ads. Please let us know of changes needed. I
have compiled these listings over the years and
noticed some are no longer in business.

Reflecting back
on 2007
By: Steve Freng
The season began as any typical
season. My excitement of getting back up on the
old tractor peaked as the aroma of the fresh
turned soil filled the air. Planting was
completed and everything was bursting with life.
The earth with all the new plants, the new lush
growth on trees in the forest and birds in the
sky. All was fine. All seemed normal.
A typical season in many
respects turned into un-typical weather for many
others. Early in the season complaints of
the 8-10 days of continuous rain were soon
followed by several weeks of drought and
mounting complaints about the weather ol' mother
nature was providing. I learned in farming to
take what you get and work with it and not pray
for too much about weather or it seems like you
get way more of what you ask for than you wanted
or ever needed. The rains came down and the
floods came up. We were fortunate on our farm,
many of our friends around us were not. Several
are still picking up the pieces.
As the season wound down I found
the food quality concerns didn't change and
continue to be a growing threat to the general
health of the public!

Things
are changing
By: Steve Freng
We need to make some quick changes in our
agricultural systems here in the USA. We
have a lot of food to grow and a lot of people
to feed. But the present system will not
sustain us much longer before we burn out
those resources for some big dogs
profit.
Or have we as a nation lost our site of hope
for taking charge of our lives, our natural
resources and the sources of food that sustain
us now, our children in the near future and
our children's children for generations to
come. This basic principle is what made this
country so great, that we the people mattered.
Or do we sit idle as corporate America
controls our lives for their profits until it
is too late to undue the destruction and
damage to our resources to sustain life? How
much longer are we going to allow the
polluting of our water, soils and air?
I think the time is NOW for everyone to speak
up, get up and start making some changes for
the future, and not more luxury items.
Getting back to the basics in life, type of
changes. Progress is good if it benefits
civilization as a whole, and should be avoided
if civilization as we know it dies because of
the progress.
Let's join together for the
civilization of mankind to continue to a live
a healthy existence for millions of years to
come.
