For the 2008 season we are bringing back the Gift Card
Also several variations on the old traditional CSA products (shares)
We provide you with two distinct distribution options:
On-Farm Pick-up   and   Drop-site Pick-up

Being flexible, we offer various sizes of shares to fit your family or individual needs, plus, we offer alternate payment plans to help fit your budget too.  

On-Farm Pick-up  and  pricing

On-farm pick-up offers greater flexibility with two components to our *pricing: A household membership fee of $99* and a share fee of $299* The $99 household fee is an annual fee making everyone in your home members. The $99 is a single fee that covers the whole family/household The second fee $299, is the single share cost.  This relates to the quantity of produce you will be receiving.  Next, select the quantity of food your home needs With on-farm pick-up you can chose the amount of produce you receive.  In this approach we sell the produce by individual shares at $299 per share A single person purchases one share ($99 + one share at $299) Couples purchase two shares Large families purchase three, four or more shares as needed The actual amount a share represents will vary throughout the year with May and June shares being small and on the light side and later summer shares being significantly larger and plentiful. 2008 Gift Cards  $100, $200 & $300 Values Use gift cards at the farm or Farmers Market for purchases in $10 increments

 Drop-site Pick-up Pricing

The most common share package for drop site pick-up sites is $697* for two (pre-boxed) shares for a 15-week season.  The price includes the $99 membership fee, which allows you to come out to the farm for bulk order pickups of vegetables, herbs, fruit, flowers and plants.  

The other available share package is the ½ share for $398.   The half or single share I felt was necessary for college students, single or elderly individuals with only one person in the household.  The ½ share also includes the $99 membership fee, which allows you to come out to the farm for bulk order pickups of vegetables, herbs, fruit for you to preserve the fresh local food for winter and spring.   To further understand what a box contains please refer to Share Size.

Flower Share Pricing

We anticipate providing flowers and fall decorations over a 12-week season.  One flower share would include 10 handcrafted bouquets during the season plus fall decorations (gourds, ornamental corn, etc.) in September as well as a couple pumpkins in October.   Season price: $69

Bedding Plants

Seeds are started in standard size flats.  

Each flat you receive holds between 25 and 150 plants depending on cell size.  Pricing is per flat of our listed varieties and does not include the seed cost for custom ordered varieties (you supply the seed or pay the additional cost for seed on other varieties not on our standard plant list).  Different seeds have different rates.  We offer a money back guarantee if flats fail to fully germinate, or re-price, it is your choice.

Fruit & nut Share Pricing

Fresh delicious naturally grown, (some certified organic) fruit, like strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, hickory nuts, walnuts, and more from local, regional and a few fruit (like grapefruit or bananas) from across the country and world not grown here.

Pricing:
Best of Summer & Fall: $55.00+ You only Pay wholesale market price when you pick up items
Full Season: $95.00+ You only Pay wholesale market price when you pick up items

Working Shares
On-Farm pick-up also offers the opportunity for individuals and families to take advantage of working shares, to get some exercise, spending time in the fresh air and save money.

• Generally  9 hours 3-3hr. periods of work provides $45 share credit

• $99+   9 hours   3-3hr periods + $299    $  45  credit

• $99+ 18 hours   6-3hr periods + $254    $  90  credit

• $99+ 27 hours   9-3hr periods + $209    $135 credit

• $99+ 36 hours 12-3hr periods + $164    $180 credit  

Work schedules will be worked out again later this year as working shares are purchased.  Generally Plan to work either mornings or late afternoon evenings.

*All CSA fees are non-refundable
Shares are transferable up to the balance remaining in the share account.   A $30 membership household fee will be deducted from the balance of the share account.
