 Be Healthy Go Beyond Organic

ATTENTION CONSUMERS
Most consumers in the USA and many farmers are unaware that pesticides, remain active in soils and are still a health issue many years after some pesticides were banned for sale in the United States and other countries. Before and during the 20 century most agricultural ground was exposed to DDT or similar pesticides at some time and there is a long breakdown time for toxins in untreated soil – around 80 years.  Even yet today, DDT and its metabolites turn up in a large percentage of breast milk samples. Cancer, neurological abnormalities, stillbirths, decreased fertility, liver damage, and impaired immune function are all linked to DDT.

These persistent  pesticides, such as DDT, continue to be released into our environment, sometimes accidentally by producers, or transported by weather, and may arrive in produce from other regions which have little if any restriction on the use of these pesticides.

Now the Good News,...   biodynamic ag methods provide gardeners and farmers a safe, inexpensive, sustainable method to reduce pesticide concentration in soils and help to prevent the uptake in crops of biologically harmful pesticides.

Even better news! You can get connected with a local biodynamic farmer, a "Natures' Way Farm" in your area and eat healthier safer foods.
